Event Description
Hunters Creek, the annual town-wide fall clean-up is Monday, October 2, our trash day . Items should be placed curbside for pickup and may include: appliances (remove doors), furniture, vehicle parts and, plumbing fixtures (under 50 lbs.), tires (maximum 2 per household), limited amount of building materials (approx. 1 cubic yard, lengths not to exceed 4 feet)
Loose yard waste, auto parts in excess of 50 lbs, large quantities of building materials, household hazardous waste, and electronics (e-waste) to include computers, televisions, monitors, printers, stereos, etc. will NOT be picked up. Old paint cans are generally NOT picked up.
Items should be placed curbside by 7am on your trash day only, but no earlier than 24 hours prior to pickup. Questions? Contact the Dept of Public Works at publicworks@herndon-va.gov or visit www.herndon-va.gov.
